RW90 (–40°C)XLPE 600 Volts Cabled Conductors
STANDARDS
National : CSA C22.2 N° 38
Compressed stranded (Class B) copper conductor with low temperature moisture resisting cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, cabled without a ground wire. RoHS compliant.
Application
For open wiring and raceways (except cabletroughs and ventilated flexible cableway) in dry or wet locations, typically as feeder circuit cables in EMT.
Minimum recommended installation temperature minus 40°C (with suitable handling procedures).
Maximum conductor temperature 90°C.
INSTAGLIDE® reduced friction construction in sizes 6 AWG and larger, black and colours.
Construction
Conductor:
Bare, annealed copper conforming to ASTM B3 and Class B compressed stranded copper in accordance to ASTM B8, from 8 AWG to 3/0 AWG.
Insulation:
Coloured cross-linked polyethylene meeting the requirements for RW90 per CSA C22.2 No. 38.
Assembly:
Cabled without a ground wire.
